Right now I am sitting here writing with anxiety
to know what the heck is going to happen with cambios here. It’s 3 in the
afternoon and we have absolutely no idea!!! It is killing me!!! Okay, so fun
and exciting news for this week.
As you all know my companion always says that
she is sick and has to stay in the house, but the lord has been merciful to us
and has put the people that we need to find in our path. As well we have seen
as a companionship the blessing it is to follow the advice of apostles when
they give us counsel on missionary work. What we did basically is that we
decided to combine two plans that we received from Elder Alonzo and Elder Russell
M. Nelson. From Elder Alonzo we are work with the members to be missionaries,
basically they are in charge of finding people to share the gospel with,
inviting them to family home evening, sharing the Book of Mormon with them,
inviting them to church, etc., and then they invite us to teach them in their
houses. From Russell M Nelson we are
supposed to teach the recent converts and the less actives lesson five in
Preach My Gospel, which is the laws and ordinances of the church, and then they
also teach the other four lessons again. But!! The members are going to do the
majority of the teaching because we decided to combine the two. Basically the
plan to find people is also going to be used with less actives and recent
converts. The exciting news is that our ward mission leader presented it to the
stake and they are going to use the plan in all of the stake!!! So fun!!! Now I just want to know about changes. I’ll
let ya all know if something happens!!! Love you all!!!
