Semana Cincuenta y Cinco

Fun news!!! There is a girl in my ward here, she got her mission call and is going to be serving in the same mission as Jeffrey!!! She leaves in January!!! Her name is Kayly Coello.

Hey everyone!! Halloween has passed and now we are in November!!! This is crazy this year has passed by so quickly. J This past week has been lovely, we have been working hard to find new people to teach. And the Lord has been so good to us with giving us people who are prepared and ready to hear the gospel. Every contact that we teach has been really positive and has heard from the missionaries before, and now they want to hear more.

This week’s email might be a shorter email. But this Saturday that is coming we will be having another baptism with Alba!!! She finally made the decision and is now ready to make the step. Pray for her that she will be able to make it to the end of this next week.

We have another investigator for this month. His name is Junior, and he is really awesome as well. He is a friend of an inactive church member who just recently reactivated. The funny thing is that Junior is reactivating his friend. Every time we are in a lesson he tells his friend that he needs to be the example for him. He catches onto the lessons really quickly and understands everything really fast. He has been reading the Book of Mormon and everything that we leave him to read.

This week I have been learning the importance of prayer, how important it is for us to have an open communication with our Heavenly Father. Prayer is real, and I have found so many answers to my questions that I have had, especially through reading the scriptures. I have been reading the New Testament again, and I love it so much!!! I love reading about the life of Christ and his example for us, I have more of a desire to become more like him and follow his example. He left us the perfect example and we have the opportunity to learn of him and his teachings. I love this work so much!!!
