So this week we had intercambios (exchanges)
with the Hermana lideres entrenadoras (sister training leaders). It was
actually very, very fun!!! I love my leaders so much!! They are such
sweethearts and so wonderful. Hermana King is from Idaho and Hermana Hackney is
from Southern California. Let’s see, something I learned from Hermana Hackney
is how to teach right form the very start with a new contact. It’s a lot more
effective and by this method we can challenge them to baptism and then discern
who is ready and prepared.
Alexander is progressing
a lot!!! He is reading and praying. He couldn’t come to church because he got
sick because it’s been pouring here!!! He decided to go play soccer in the rain
and then got sick, so we are going to bring him to the general conference
sessions. This will help him feel and
understand the importance of a living prophet today.
Hermana Muñoz has also
been teaching me a lot about having more patience. I thought I had patience but
I am really learning what it means to have patience when things don’t go the
way that we planned and how to really take a step back and look for solutions. It’s
helped a lot, she is awesome!!!!
This week we have decided
to dedicate our time to finding people, our investigators are dropping like
flies. I dunno what’s happening, it’s like a plague thing going on here.
Every area is positive...
it depends on the faith of the missionaries... Anyways!!! Invite someone to
conference!! The spirit there is so powerful!!!! Love you all!!!
