Hey everyone!!!
So this week was
interesting, we ended up teaching a ton of fechas [appointments] this week, we now have 10 baptismal dates and 2
families interested in the church. Let’s
see, this week has been a week of getting ready to help people come to church.
This past week we had some very spiritual lessons that helped the menos activos
[“less actives”, meaning church members
who don’t regularly attend church] understand that they need to forgive the
branch president. Christ suffered for everything and he forgives us because we aren’t
perfect. We should be able to forgive
others, and firstly forgive ourselves. Sometimes that is the hardest thing to
do.
I gave my first talk in
church yesterday! It was awesome! I felt the Spirit so much, and I am so
grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts and feelings with the members
in that way. Something that we are trying to do is help the less actives
understand the gospel more, some of these people are very new members and still
don’t understand anything, they need a guiding hand because everything in our
church is so different from what they’re used to and it can be daunting because
it’s a completely new lifestyle. Help new members and help less actives, lead
them by the hand gently and with love, reach out your hand like the Savoir did
when he healed others.
